1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and ArchGenie. They apply whenever you use archgenie.io or any related product we offer (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to use or register for the Service. If you're using it for an organization, you confirm you're authorized to agree to these terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it. If you notice unauthorized use, let us know at support@archgenie.io.
3. Your content and generated outputs
You own what you put in. Prompts, descriptions, screenshots, and anything else you submit belong to you. You also own everything the Service generates for you — diagrams, infrastructure code, documentation, and related outputs. To the extent we hold any rights in those outputs, we assign them to you.
We do not use your prompts, diagrams, or generated code to train AI models, and we contractually require the same of our third-party providers.
The Service uses third-party AI foundation models to generate outputs. We select providers that contractually commit to not using customer content for model training. Details of current providers are described in our Privacy Policy, which we update when processing changes materially.
We make no representation that generated outputs are eligible for copyright protection in any jurisdiction. You are free to use, modify, and distribute them without restriction from us. Generated outputs are not exclusive — other users submitting similar inputs may receive similar or identical outputs.
We make no warranty that generated outputs are free from third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for reviewing outputs for potential infringement before use, and for complying with applicable laws and any third-party terms — including open-source license obligations for dependencies referenced in generated code.
In jurisdictions or industries that require disclosure of AI involvement in content creation, you are responsible for making appropriate disclosures.
4. How you use the service
Please don't:
- use the Service for illegal purposes or to harm others;
- try to reverse-engineer the Service or extract the underlying models;
- circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or tier restrictions;
- submit content that infringes anyone else's rights;
- resell or sublicense the Service, or use its outputs to build a substantially similar architecture-generation product that competes directly with the Service.
When you connect a Git provider (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) or a Jira workspace, we request the permissions needed to push files, create branches, open pull requests, or create issues on your behalf. We store your OAuth tokens in encrypted form and use them only for actions you initiate. You can revoke our access any time from your provider's settings.
5. Payment
The Service runs on a credit model. Each tier includes a monthly credit allocation, and you can buy additional credits. Current pricing, allocations, and how credits are consumed are shown on our pricing page and may change over time. Monthly credit allocations expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased credits do not expire while your account is active.
Paid subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which is the merchant of record and the seller of record for all paid transactions. Paddle calculates and collects applicable taxes at checkout, and tax invoices are issued by Paddle, not by ArchGenie. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices; price changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle. Subscription fees and consumed credits are non-refundable.
You have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not started using the Product during that period. Your statutory consumer rights under applicable law are not affected by these terms. To exercise this right, contact support@archgenie.io.
6. Disclaimers and your responsibility
The Service and all generated outputs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement — to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. AI outputs may contain errors, and security assessments and cost estimates are informational only. They are not security audits, compliance certifications, or guarantees of cloud charges.
Please review everything before you deploy it.
When you deploy generated infrastructure code to AWS, Azure, GCP, or any other provider, you may incur real usage fees, cause outages, or create security misconfigurations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and deploying generated code, and for any costs, outages, data loss, or security incidents that result. We don't have access to your cloud accounts and can't control what happens there.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ArchGenie and its officers, employees, and contractors from any third-party claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use or deployment of Service outputs, (b) your content, or (c) your breach of these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArchGenie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or cloud-provider costs — arising from your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) one month's subscription fee for your current plan, or (b) USD $10. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
The Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Enterprise customers may negotiate service-level terms separately.
8. Changes, termination, and general
You can close your account any time. When you do, we delete your personal data and generated content within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it. You can export your data at any time using the Service's built-in export features.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and provide a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused credits.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. For minor changes we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party infrastructure providers.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ArchGenie regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other.
We may assign these terms to an affiliate or successor without your consent. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent.
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Brussels, Belgium, except where mandatory consumer protection law entitles you to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Questions? Email support@archgenie.io.
